Behind the Scenes: My Role at the F1 Grand Prix

Chief Intervention Marshal

As Chief Intervention Marshal for the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and regional races, I played a key role in ensuring track safety and operational efficiency.
My responsibilities included:

Trackside Support: Provided immediate trackside assistance, including clearing debris and aiding in vehicle recovery during live sessions.
Safety Management: Ensured the track remained safe for competitors by addressing hazards promptly and effectively.
Team Leadership: Oversaw a team of intervention marshals, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring coordinated efforts.
Incident Response: Managed rapid response to incidents during races and practice sessions to maintain event flow and safety.
Coordination with Officials: Worked closely with race control and safety teams to ensure compliance with FIA regulations.

Serving as Chief Intervention Marshal was an exhilarating and demanding role. Contributing to the safety and success of the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and regional races was a privilege, and the experience honed my leadership and crisis management skills.
